Coins
When I was born I had a passion for collecting coins — it didn’t matter what coin it was, it just gave me joy. In 2014 I started collecting some North Korean coins and banknotes. I loved their design. Since not much is known about North Korean coinage, I thought it appropriate to scan my collection and make it available to the public.
Banknotes
The collection of DPRK banknotes — scanned at high resolution, catalogued with denomination, date of issue, dimensions, issuer and serial numbers. Many of these are surprisingly hard to obtain outside the country.
Stamps
North Korean postage stamps — from sports commemoratives to wildlife and political themes. Most are multicolored and produced in surprising quantity.
